West County Antique Mall in the St. Louis County suburb of Ellisville, Missouri began as "Two Chicks Vintage Marketplace West County." In under two years, "Two Chicks" as it was known, grew into a community of dedicated home made, antique goods and collectibles. The biggest asset of "Two Chicks" was not just the antiques. Rather, it was the people -the team, vendors and customers - that created more just an antique or vintage mall in the county. "Two Chicks" was a community in which everyone could enjoy their love of all things old and collectible in a family-friendly environment.
Chad Lane the owner of St Louis Antique Mall now known for his ridiculous-ly awesome videos on facebook, came to know Laura, the owner of Two Chicks. One day Laura called Chad up, filled him in on her desire to ride off into the sunset (literally on a horse) and asked if he wanted to take it over.
Chad was thrilled.
New Beginnings - West County Antique Mall
Having owned St Louis Antique Mall for several years it was the right time for Chad and his business partner to look into branching out. Chad wants to own five antique malls, at least, and bring about a renaissance of re-use to the entire country.
Rebranding - the Name Change
Two Chicks will always be Laura's baby, and Chad wanted something that captured the essence of the area in which the mall is located. It was also important that it fit in with the current mall out near the airport. And so, West County Antique Mall was born.
It is the LARGEST antique and vintage mall in West County - and the second largest in the entire region. Packed within its doors is 25,000 square feet of treasures, collectibles and antique/vintage finds.
The incredible community in West St Louis County and the entire region - plus that travel from all over - are truly what make having these antique malls a joy. We hope you'll visit both locations, and many more to come.
